School details
Under Settings you build the "About" page families see inside the app: who the school is, where it is and how to download the application.
It's a section of Manage school mode, and it has eight fields. None of them is required: anything you leave blank simply isn't shown.
The introduction

| Institutional page title | The section heading. Usually the school's name or a short phrase. |
| Institutional image | A photo of the building, the logo, or an image that represents the school. |
| Institutional content | The introductory text: your history, your teaching approach, whatever you want families to know. |
This page is read by a parent on a phone. A couple of clear paragraphs work far better than the full mission statement.
The map location
Three fields that place a marker on the map in the app:

| Marker title | The text shown when you tap the point on the map. For example, "Primary Campus". |
| Latitude | The north-south coordinate. |
| Longitude | The east-west coordinate. |
How to get the coordinates
Open Google Maps and search for the school's address.
Right-click on the exact spot of the building.
The first line of the menu is the two numbers, separated by a comma. Copy
them.
Paste the first into Latitude and the second into Longitude.
It's always latitude first. Swap them and the marker will land somewhere else in the world. If the map looks wrong, that's the first thing to check.
The store links
The last two fields are the addresses where the app is downloaded: Google Play for Android phones and the App Store for iPhone.
They're there so you can pass the link to a family who hasn't installed the app yet. If you don't have them to hand, get in touch and we'll send them over.
Saving
The button saves all eight fields at once.
If you save without choosing a new image, the existing one is kept. To change it, upload another; the field is only touched if you give it a file.
What isn't edited here
This screen is the app's institutional page. The school's name, country, address and phone —the details you entered when registering— aren't edited from here.
If you need to correct any of them, get in touch and we'll change it.
