Getting started

Register your school

How to create your school's Andrómeda account and confirm your email address.

You sign up yourself from the registration page. Nobody needs to enable it for you: we ask for the bare minimum and you're in within a couple of minutes.

What we ask for

1

Go to the registration page

From the sign-in screen, click Register your school.

2

Fill in the form

There are few fields, and only three are required:

FieldRequired?What it's used for
School nameYesHow the school appears in the panel and in the families' app.
CountryYesDetermines the billing currency if you later subscribe to the premium plan.
ProvinceNoOnly appears if you chose Argentina.
AddressNoSchool contact detail.
PhoneNoSchool contact detail.
EmailYesYour username for signing in, and where the confirmation link is sent.
PasswordYesAt least 8 characters. Asked twice to catch typos.
3

Check your email

We send you a message with a link to confirm your address. If you can't find it, check your spam folder.

4

Click the link

Only then is the school created. The link takes you straight into the panel, already signed in.

The link expires

It's valid for 48 hours and can be used once. If it expired or you've already used it, just register again with the same details.

Why we don't ask for more

You might expect registration to ask for your first name, surname or the school's levels. It deliberately doesn't: all of that is loaded later from the panel, more comfortably and with the option to correct it.

In the meantime, the account is created under the generic name Administrador. To set your real name, go to Users and edit your record.

What happens once you're in

You become the school administrator, the highest role within your institution. You'll see a fairly empty panel, and that's normal: there are no levels yet.

Your school starts on the free plan, with communication, content and reports enabled.

Nothing is created until you confirm

If you fill in the form and never click the link in the email, nothing is saved: neither the school nor your user. That's deliberate, so a mistyped email address doesn't leave half-created accounts behind.

Common problems

That email is already in use

The address already belongs to an Andrómeda account. Try signing in with it, or register with a different address.

The confirmation link expired or was already used

More than 48 hours passed, or you'd already used the link. Just fill in the registration form again: nothing gets duplicated.

The email never arrived

Check your spam folder. If it isn't there either, there may be a typo in the address: register again, paying attention to the email field.

What's next

The first thing to do is create at least one level, because almost everything else hangs from it.
